September, a transition month. Summer heat falls and some of the leaves do to. What captured my thought process today was the idea that transition brings transformation. What once was, is now something else. So it is in our life as a follower of Jesus. A transition took place in my life when I received Christ.
A transformation, a coming out of one season into another. Paul told the church at Rome, 12:2; "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." The shift of one season in weather is similar to the shift from one life to another in Christ. As the transformation takes place in my life to be like Christ, I invite it in.
The beauty of summer becomes falls glory. So is the transformation from sinner to saint. Beauty in all of its glory.
