Pastor Emeritus & Shirley Howells

...
Pastor Henry Howells and his lovely wife Shirley. Pastor Emeritus is what he likes to call semi-retired, drop the semi. He is still involved at CLC and heads the Honduras missionary trip each year.

Rick McClure

...
I am a Deacon in the church, I also run the power point for Pastor Dave, also I assist with the sound. I am also involved on the mission trips by leading the teams with Pastor Henry. What I enjoy most about what I do is just serving the Lord and the Church.

Patti Mattica

...
I have attended Church of the Living Christ from birth, when it was located on Lawrence Ave. in Ellwood City, where it began. I made Jesus my Lord and accepted Him as my Savior at the age of 6 and soon received the baptism of the Holy Spirit into my life. I was raised in the church to be a servant, faithful and wise steward, and to believe and trust God with my whole heart. At the age of 18 I began teaching Sunday School, and am still teaching 45 years later. I played the organ for praise and worship for several decades. I have been priveleged to assist with VBS throughout the years. Steve and I headed up the youth group locally and at camp for many years. I am honored to serve as an Elder Woman along-side Steve, who is presently the head Elder of the church. We together serve the Sr. citizen residents of Westbridge each week by holding a Bible study with them. As well, I have the opportunity and privelege to teach at Good News Clubs held in Aliquippa, and Rochester elementary schools each week through Child Evangelism, as well as serve on the local committee. I have been blessed beyond measure to be allowed to sow God's love and grace into many lives throughout the years and enjoy seeing the fruit of our labors in the growth of others. I may not have a lot of "stuff" in life, but I am so abundantly blessed with children, grandchildren, all sold out for the Lord and serving him in all the areas of their lives, being the "remnant" that is carrying out the heritage that was handed down to US. Truly, my desire is that at the end of my days, I will have as my story, my "profile", THIS is my story, this is my song...praising my Savior, ALL the day long.

Steve Mattica

...
Hi – I’m Steve Mattica Head Elder, CLC church board member. Sunday School Superintendent, as well provide support for additional Children’s ministries, and children’s events such as Beaver County River Regatta. As Head Elder provide prayer and encouragement for those in need, and oversee behind-the-scene activities of the church services in order that the Pastor and our Worship team can fully focus on ministering. — Dont let him fool you, he also moonlights in some of the techy stuff at CLC.

John & Dianne Henwood

...
Meet John and Dianne. John is the Treasurer and serves on the board. Dianne does a wonderful job at preparing and publishing our monthly calendars.

Dwight Farrow

...
Dwight, what can we say about Dwight? We can say he resembles what Paul speaks in Romans. "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality." Romans 12:9-13 Dwight radiates this verse, and has been serving here since 1975. His words, "I love this church and I love my pastor". Dwight has since gone home to be with our Lord Jesus.

Phil Howells

...
Phil is a deacon at the church and brother of Pastor Dave. He is an example of what Paul was taking about in his letter to the Ephesians. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

Debbie Howells

...
As the lead teacher of Kids Kingdom, it is my greatest joy to take children to the Father’s throne and put their little hands in His loving ones. To see their understanding opened and made personal is my goal. I love to teach young children how to navigate the Scriptures for themselves. I want them to realize that they are the church of today and that God listens to their prayers. “But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." ‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Tammy Smith

...
Tammy helps out in every area of the church. Where there is a need, and if she can help, she's on it. Tammy looks for ways she can help people, and does an amazing job at whatever it is.

Jim Smith

...
Jim is a deacon and helps with the video recordings at the church. He also plays the leading role CLC's production of "Way of the Cross", which takes place through the streets of Bridgewater every year, celebrating Jesus crucifixion. Can you guess what role he plays?

Debbie Reed

...
Debbie plays an amzing piano during services.

Dean Bostwick

...
I was very humbled and considered it an honor to be asked to serve Church of the Living Christ as a Deacon. I consider it a privilege to serve in any duty from assisting and helping our church family, to maintaining our building and grounds. Deut 16:17 “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessings of the Lord, your God, which He has given you.” The Lord has greatly changed and blessed me life. Any way that I can give out of my grateful heart and serve fills me with joy.

Jimmy Eaton

...
Jimmy is a deacon here at Church of the Living Christ

Diana Eaton

...
Diana Teaches the Pre-Teen class here at Church of the Living Christ. She is a dedicated servent and loves sharing and teaching the word of God to the children.

Bob Beauchamp

...
My name is Bob Beauchamp (BEE-chum) and serving the church as a deacon is a rewarding position that I am honored to hold. Being one who is able to commissioned to step up and help is not something to be taken lightly. In today's church the traditional idea of being a deacon is expanded into the areas of technology and audio-visual. Each of these areas, along with the more "traditional" areas, have their own challenges and rewards. Seeing God's hand in all you apply yourself to in the church is what I enjoy most about being a deacon. I also serves as a youth pastor, sunday school teacher, and member of the music ministry.

Shelly Beauchamp

...
My name is Miss Shelly and I teach our 5th and 6th grade students during our Sunday morning services. Our pre-teens spend the time learning how to dig deep in God's Word, discovering His love for them and His promises for them. What I love most about my role at CLC is reaching the next generation for the Kingdom. These are our World Changers and Difference Makers. To be a small part of that is really exciting!

Steve Cox

...
My name is Steven Cox and I currently serve as a deacon and a custodian along with my wife Edie. When asked to become a deacon, I was humbled and honored to be able to serve the Lord in this capacity. A scripture given when I became a deacon was in John where Jesus said “You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you” As a result, I get to work with, pray with, laugh with, and talk with fellow deacons as we strive to serve the Lord together in the unity of the Spirit. As a custodian, the Lord has reminded me several times when I got upset over certain messes to clean up that the reason there is a mess to clean up is because there is life in the church. Our church is alive and active, therefore messes are made at times and need cleaned up. It has also taught me about being faithful in the small things. When you think no one sees what you do, it doesn’t matter because the Lord does. So I do it as unto the Lord and his approval makes it all worth it.

Claude Steele

...
Claude is a deacon at CLC. As with many others, he is a walking example of what Jesus meant when He said, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45

Dan McCombs

...
Being a deacon was not a choice I made on my own. It was a calling that had been placed on me for the second time now. I may not feel worthy of the title our God has called me to, but it has always been something I felt called to do. I thank my mother for teaching me the love of God, and compassion to love and help others, and to support my church in anyway I can. I am honored, and humbled, to be asked to be a deacon for the Church of the Living Christ, and I look forward to serving our Lord Jesus Christ in this endeavor.

Jeff Stewart

...
Being A Deacon When I first got saved I thought it would be great to be a deacon. So when Pastor Dave asked me if I would be a deacon the first thing I thought of was I’m not worthy. I prayed about it, and then I said yes. My favorite thing about serving as a deacon is communion. That to me is the best. We always come into the presence of the Lord, and what a privilege it is to serve. Jesus came as a servant not as a king. I believe the best leaders are the best servants. I also believe it is a privilege to be a deacon. It takes a lot of people to keep the church going. When things break they need fixed, and that is some of our responsibility. It also brings the men closer together because we are all in it together. I thank God every day that I’m a part of "CLC" and that I am saved. I thank God that we have great leaders like we do. It’s a honor and privilege to be a deacon!
